	Not all children are eager to please. In fact, some seem bent on destroying everything and everyone in your home..... Some days you need to give yourself a big pat on the back for letting a particular child of yours come back into the house after school. You know this one is going to create havoc all evening long. You know that the other kids will be brought to tears many times over, that your marriage will be sorely tested and that you, yourself, will be brought to the very edge. And yet, you open the door. Even though you have no choice really, I say at least give yourself a big pat on the back; recognize - because you might be the only one to do so - that you are a true parenting hero.
