1)The ovens that are found in most homes today are manufactured in such a way that their openings are closed and their doors are hermetically sealed to ensure that no heat escapes and that the heat is evenly distributed to all parts of the oven.
While items are cooked/baked in the oven, the heat and the steam that escapes from the food being cooked/baked gets absorbed into the walls of the oven. (Sometimes this can even be visible to the naked eye in the form of dried gravy, which get baked onto the walls over time) and can then be transferred onto other food in the oven. (See Darchei Teshuva Siman 92:164 and Shu"t Minchas Yitzchak Vol. 5 Siman 20:10)
Therefore, the usage of this oven for uncovered meat, dairy and Parve simultaneously is prohibited.
Furthermore, even if the oven is not used at the same time for opposite food classes, but is used consecutively, it is also problematic if the foods are uncovered, and surely L'Chatchilah it should not be done.
2) Although many ovens today have ventsthat are made to remove the steam from the oven, most Poskim do not consider this significant enough to override the problem of steam from one food class in the oven mixing with food of a different class, andthus keep to the ruling thatif both classes werecooked in the oven uncovered simultaneously or even consecutively, it will render the food problematic.
In the event that food was cooked in any of the aforementioned situations, a competent Rav must be consulted for a ruling.

QUESTION & ANSWER CORNER:
Reader Submitted Questions of interest on topics related to Halachos we covered, as well as other interesting topic and Answers. Taken from the Q & A pages on the Halacha For Todaywebsite.
Although the answers I give to questions are taken directly from the Sifrei HaPoskim, and aren't my own, they are still for study purposes only, NOT for Psak Halacha.
What is the halacha/minhag regarding adding a shabbos candle for each new child?
If by adding one candle it creates an even number are we then compelled to add another to make it an odd number?
What is the source for adding candles and why even numbers of candles may be a problem?
Answer:
There is no problem with lighting an even amount of candles. In fact, as soon as a woman starts lighting candles, before she has children, she lights two candles, which is an even number. Two candles are to commemorate Shamor and Zachor (Shulchan Aruch Siman 263:1)
With each new child, one additional candle is added, as per the Rama Siman 263:1.
In fact in the text of the Rama he clearly writes that a woman can light "three or four candles....". Clearly no problem with an even amount

Our holy sages, the Chazal tell us
תנא דבי אליהו כל השונה הלכות בכל יום מובטח לו שהוא בן עולם הבא, שנאמר הליכות עולם לו, אל תקרי הליכות אלא הלכות - one who studies [at least two] Halachos daily is assured a portion in Olam Haba - the world to come. (:מגילה כ"ח )
