pot or pan of one food class may not be used for cooking or frying a
food of the opposite class even if the pot was thoroughly cleaned and
was not used in over 24 hours. (See Shulchan Aruch Yoreh Deah Siman 93:1)

L'Chatchilah, it is best to avoid cooking parve foods in a meat or
dairy pot if the food will be eaten at a meal of the opposite class of
food than the pot. This is especially important when the parve item in question is a sharp food.(See Rama to Yoreh Deah Siman 95:2 and the Shach95:3
that is good to be stringent with this. See also Kaf HaChaim Yoreh Deah
95:3 and 4 that this applies to Sephardic Jews as well, though some

Although
the answers I give to questions are taken directly from the Sifrei
HaPoskim, and aren't my own, they are still for study purposes
only, NOT for Psak Halacha.
Is a kohen allowed to fly in a plane or helicopter over a jewish cemetery?
Answer:
No. If a Kohen
knows for sure that he will be flying over a jewish cemetery he may not
take that flight, as the impurity of a grave goes straight up until the
heavens.
However, he does not have to assume that every flight
path will do so, and thus doesnt need to avoid flying altogether when
it isnt for sure that a jewish cemetery will be flown over.
Our holy sages, the Chazal tell us
תנא דבי אליהו כל השונה הלכות בכל יום מובטח לו שהוא בן עולם הבא, שנאמר הליכות עולם לו, אל תקרי הליכות אלא הלכות - one who studies [at least two] Halachos daily is assured a portion in Olam Haba - the world to come. (:מגילה כ"ח )
